PRICING

Except where noted otherwise, the List Price displayed for products on our website represents the full retail price listed on the product itself, suggested by the manufacturer or supplier, or estimated in accordance with standard industry practice; or the estimated retail value for a comparably featured item offered elsewhere. The List Price is a comparative price estimate and may or may not represent the prevailing price in every area on any particular day. For certain items that are offered as a set, the List Price may represent "open-stock" prices, which means the aggregate of the manufacturer's estimated or suggested retail price for each of the items included in the set. Where an item is offered for sale by one of our merchants, the List Price may be provided by the merchant.

With respect to items sold by www.christianrepublic.co.za, we cannot confirm the price of an item until you order; despite our best efforts, a small number of the items in our catalogue may be mispriced. If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.

Please note that this policy applies only to products sold by Christian Republic. Your purchases from third-party sellers using www.christianrepublic.co.za. Payments are charged at the time you place your order, and third-party sellers may follow different policies in the event of a mispriced item.

Due to the popularity of some products or services, www.christianrepublic.co.za may not always have a product or service ordered by you in stock. www.christianrepublic.co.za cannot accept orders for out of stock products or services. If the products and services ordered by you are not available or only a portion is available, you may cancel the order, or re-order the quantity that is available from a different supplier. Please note that www.christianrepublic.co.za cannot be held responsible for price differences between suppliers, distributors or publishers.

VAT

All prices quoted on www.christianmobile.co.za include VAT. The subtotal for your total purchases as displayed in your basket includes VAT. A breakdown of VAT and delivery charges will appear on the checkout page. If you'd like to claim VAT print out the invoice. VAT is not charged if goods bought by non-South African residents are delivered to an international address

Delivery policy

Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 5 days and delivery confirmed by way of Proof of Delivery from the courier company.

All deliveries within South Africa will be charged R20 per basket via Post Office and R30 for door-to-door deliveries. For door-to-door deliveries, the courier company will follow the following procedure: Firstly they will attempt to deliver at the address specified by the customer. If they are unable to deliver, they will leave a calling card requesting that the customer contact them. They will then arrange for delivery of the goods. Where they are unable to deliver at the second attempt, the customer will be charged for delivery.

Orders occurring before 12pm (South African time) with door-to-door option will be delivered the next day in major centres only. Major centres are Bloemfontein, Cape Town, Durban, East London, George, Johannesburg, Kimberley, Nelspruit, Pietermaritzburg, Pietersburg, Port Elizabeth and Pretoria. Orders occurring after 12pm with door-to-door option will be delivered within 48 hours in major centres and 72 hours in outlying areas. Orders delivered by the Post Office will take up to 5 days.

Any amount of confirmed orders over R400 will be delivered for free.

International deliveries can be arranged for customers case by case. Christian Republic's call centre representatives must obtain a quote from the courier companies. All quotations must be accepted in writing. No orders will be processed if not agreed to/accepted by the customer.

Return and Refunds policy

The provision of goods and services by Christian Republic is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Christian Republic will refund the client in full within 30 days.

All stock is sold on a firm sale basis.

Where Christian Republic supplies the wrong product or if the product is any way faulty or damaged, the customer needs to notify Christian Republic within two days of receipt of the faulty or damaged product and Christian Republic will exchange the product within 14 days of notification by the customer.

Special offers: If Christian Republic supplies the wrong product or if the product is in any way faulty or damaged, Christian Republic will exchange it for the correct one. However, if the product is no longer being offered at the special price, it will not be replaced but refunded at the buyer's purchase price including any delivery costs.

Upgrading of orders: Where a customer wishes to return a book in order to purchase a book of a higher value, Christian Republic will exchange the book and invoice the customer's account with the difference in value.

Should customers return items unauthorised and with invalid reason, then all courier costs will be charged!

Refunds (after deduction of courier charges) will only take place once items are received back safely and in perfect, re-saleable condition on the premises

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the goods are returned to us in good condition, and we do not accept liability should their goods goes astray.

Should goods be received damaged upon return, then absolutely no credit shall be applied to the customers account at all.

Payment methods

Credit card payments

Payments may be made via Visa, Master Card, Diners or American Express credit cards.

Credit card transactions will be acquired for Christian Republic by PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for Standard Bank of South Africa. PayGate use SSL3 and no credit card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.

Customer details will be stored by Christian Republic separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate's secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer www.paygate.co.za

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction Currency is ZAR (South African Rand). Forex rate of the day on which the transaction takes place will apply.

Bank deposit payments

If the buyer selects the 'pay via EFT' button, instructions will be given on how to deposit monies into the Christian Republic bank account. EFT payments are subject to the following rules:

• the exact amount must be paid
• the payment must be identified by supplying the order number and surname in the reference section of the deposit slip or on the electronic transfer.
• no transfers must be made from ATM's
• Unpaid bank deposit orders are cancelled after five business days.
