The Victor Who Conquered the Accuser

This is an extract from: Discover Who You Really Are - by Este Geldenhuys Satan is accusing us before our Father all the time. See him as a prosecutor who is levelling accusations against us before the Father day and night. Fortunately every believer also has an Advocate who defends everyone who believes in Christ before the Father – also day and night. ‘And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous’ (1 John 2:1).
And you should know that this court case was settled long ago when Christ, the Advocate of the believers, triumphed on the cross two thousand years ago.
‘Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down”’ (Rev 12:10).
